Based in Mount Wellington, Auckland, New Zealand, Weldwell was established in 1947. Weldwell offers welding products and related information to their clients in New Zealand. Among the various products offered by the company are welding equipment, welding helmets and safety equipment.

Weldwell offers Austarc C & G Electrodes for cutting, gouging and piercing most steels. These heavy coated electrodes make use of standard AC or DC arc welding equipment. These metal working machines are used for general cutting and grooving in joint preparation, removing defective welds and reclaiming scrap metal. The Austarc C & G produces a very high arc force for good results.

Austarc C & G are easy to use mobile tools used for the arc gouging and cutting of most metals. The up and down sawing motion is used for cutting the metal in a desired way. For the right cutting technique, the angle of electrode should be approximately 70 degrees to the horizontal. For piercing holes in to metals, the electrode should be kept at slightly off right angles. For trimmed the holes, an up and down sawing motion should be used.
