Wedgelock Equipment produces and supplies high quality products that are designed and engineered to the necessary standards. They supply Wedgelock grabs as powerful attachment tools that are designed for use in rock, tress, scrub and other kinds of demolition work. These grabs are constructed with medium and high tensile materials, therefore require less maintenance.
They can be fitted either directly to the excavator dipper as well as link arms or can be coupled to a Wedgelock Quick Coupler. These attachment products can be easily customised to suit a wide variety of applications. Clamping action of the grab has been achieved with the use of these machines by just crowding the bucket cylinder, which in turn completely eliminates the need for extra hydraulics and circuitry.
Wedgelock grabs are supplied with multi-position strut mount options. These grabs are manufactured for those excavators whose capacity is estimated above 4.5 tonnes (9900 Lbs). There are two types of manual grabs supplied by Wedgelock namely Wedgelock Rockgrab and Wedgelock Bushgrab. Both these manual grabs are perfect for use in demolition, forestry and waste industries. These manual grabs operate with high efficiency off the crowd cylinder hydraulics. Operators are allowed to alter the grab's working parameters based on the position of the excavator relative to the work.
