Auckland-based Wacker Neuson is a provider of track excavators, mobile excavators, skid steer loaders, surface heaters and electric breakers. They now provide electric breakers for customers in Australia and New Zealand.
These are new, lightweight electric breakers from Wacker Neuson and they are particularly powerful and long-lasting. Wacker Construction Equipment AG (soon to be Wacker Neuson SE) is expanding its portfolio of industry breakers to include two new lightweight devices. Weighing between six and seven kilos, new EH 6M and EHB 7M electric breakers are extremely low maintenance, have a long lifespan and extremely powerful percussion rates. Both breakers have robust design, and they are long lasting. From the drive engine through the magnesium crankcase to the individual housing elements, all components in these new models have been specially designed for durability, giving these two electric breakers the longest lifespan in their class. Together with the optimised engine and machine cooling system, these high levels of quality extend service intervals significantly beyond those required for comparable devices.
The robust design is backed by extremely powerful performance. Both breakers allow operators to work particularly quickly and efficiently by delivering best-in-class single stroke energy and demolition performance. Intelligent extra functions enabling intuitive, hassle-free operation further enhance efficiency.
The quick check display in the handle allows operators to monitor the power supply and see when the next service is due at a glance. A user-friendly switch can be used to quickly and easily reduce breaker output by 40 percent for work where full power is not required. The powerful low-vibration technology used with larger Wacker Neuson breakers is also deployed in these two smaller models. The smooth front handle, developed in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute, is a further plus as it does not dig onto the operator’s hands, thus further reducing fatigue.
