Announced at the recent SolidWorks World 2010 the new DS SolidWorks sponsored interactive web series, "Let's Go Design" is asking SolidWorks 3D CAD users to submit “crazy” designs to foster innovation and with a view to seeing the design become reality.
“SolidWorks 3D CAD users continually amaze us with their design ideas” said Solidtec Solutions Country Manager, Kerry Rice. “SolidWorks is extremely easy to use so it enables engineers and designers to focus on design, not on using CAD software. Subsequently the amount of design innovation SolidWorks 3D CAD we witness in the New Zealand SolidWorks community is inspiring”.
In this series, SolidWorks is challenging CAD users to help design cool new products - like the ultimate office chair or a collapsible commuter vehicle. The program encourages all users including Certified SolidWorks Professionals (CSWP) to focus on crazy or unusual design ideas to stimulate innovation by using SolidWorks 3D CAD.
